      I think my depth of field was too shallow. I plan on revisiting this shoot next week.

  I visited the Doctors Creek Unit this week. It is a much better location to shoot sunsets. I like that it has more nature trails to explore. I focused on Macro images and sunset pictures this time. I used a tripod for the sunset pictures and that let me compile four shots into an HDR image. I failed to take my tripod on the nature hike so several desirable images were not sharp enough to include in my final cut.
